Kelly Baker

Dedication Page

Everyone here will know Kelly Baker as the woman who ran my Facebook Authors page and promoted my work on Twitter. Sadly and with great shock Kelly passed away late Novemeber 2013. I would like to dedicate this page to her; yet it seems such a small gesture for such a wonderful person.

To me Kelly was my sister, of 29, who lived with her devoted husband, with her mass amount of snakes, dogs, rats and fish (amongst others). She was one of the funniest people I know; with an innocent yet shocking sense of humour. She was one of the most generous people; she was always there if I needed her, emotionally or physically. She rang every day with a bit of gossip, hours of chatting, plans of our holidays or new ideas for this site. We'd sit and scare ourselves researching ghosts and mermaids together while we demanded everyone else get ready for our plans for the day. We, although living so many miles apart, were inseperable. Without her I'm a little lost.

Kelly has touched so many people throughout her life, some more than others, but still all special. I can't pretend to know how everyone is feeling or how strong their relationship was with her but Kelly was a loving wife, a sister, a beloved grandaughter, a daughter, a neice, a daughter in-law, a sister in-law, a cousin, a friend; the list goes on.

There are so many plans that will go unfilled, which is devestating, but also so many that were under-taken and enjoyed; with so many brilliant memories of growing up together and growing closer as we went. So many memories of holidays and christmas' spent together, memories of her beautiful wedding, her home, her laugh, how gullible and inquisitive she was, of trips to the beach and staying at her home. So many lovely memories of lovely times.

Everyone is entitled to remember kelly as they knew her and when they knew her. Treasure those memories as it is those that keep my sister alive and happy, bubbily, strong willed, stubborn, generous, determined and loving.

Please take a moment to remember Kelly for everything that she was and to who she was to so many people.

Kelly, you are painfully missed.

Your loving brother,

Aaron
